3rd International India Medical Tourism Conference (IIMTC) 2016 Gets ‘Incredible India’ Logo Support from Ministry Tourism

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is now Support Partner of IIMTC 2016.

New Delhi, July 30, 2016: Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has announced to extend their support to the third edition of International India Medical Tourism Congress (IIMTC 2016) to take place in Hyderabad on 3-4 September, 2016. According to the partnership, the ‘Incredible India’ Logo will be the part of the IIMTC 2016, and this is being seen as an endeavor to promote the Indian medical tourism industry.

India is aiming to strengthen its position in the billion dollar global medical tourism business and IIMTC has been playing a crucial role in establishing country has the prominent medical tourism destination in the world. Organized by Society of Critical Care Emergency Medicine (SCCEM) and International India Wellness Medical Tourism Association (IIWMTA), the IIMTC 2016 is the third annual event to promote the Indian medical tourism sector. The two-day conference and awards will bring all stakeholders to the single platform and will also felicitate the top performers from the industry.

With the support from the Ministry of Tourism, the forthcoming medical tourism conference in India will garner more interests from local as well as international players engaged in the tourism business. The conference is going to witness participation from representatives from more than 50 countries, including CIS countries, the Middle East, North African Nations, and others. Besides, a significant number of Indian healthcare providers, which include some big names, will be present at the conference to showcase their excellence in the healthcare sector.

According to Dr. H. N. Garg, the President of SCCEM, “We are expecting participations from the Health and Ayush departments as well, besides the Ministry of Tourism. The present government under the leadership of our visionary Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is committed to establishing country’s dominance in all fields, and the medical tourism industry could be a torchbearer of the ‘Brand India’ campaign,” The Prime Minister has already extended his best wishes to the success of IIMTC and the event is gradually heading towards achieving a great success to add to the growth and prosperity of the nation.
