Bangalore, April 02, 2020: In the wake of the on-going coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Aster CMI Hospital and Aster RV Hospital as part of Aster DM healthcare have launched Video Consultation to allow patients to remotely consult with its doctors as per standard working hours of the hospital. The video-consultation service will be available across all key specialities.
People can visit the hospital website, register and book an appointment with their choice of Specialists. Post this they can remotely consult through video call at their respective appointment time.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr Harish Pillai, CEO Aster India said, “In these trying times, we would like to put every possible measure in place to help people get medical help through video consultation. The online service promotes social distancing while it also gives patients easy access to expert advice when they need it the most. A tele-consulting tool like this has the potential to enable patients to seek appropriate treatment on time without stepping outside their home.”
