Aster CMI Hospital Observes World Heart Day 2023 through Cyclothon Ms. Yasmeen Shaikh, National Gold Medalist Badminton Player flagged off Cyclothon Heart Screening Camp for Doctors

Bengaluru, October 04, 2023 : In commemoration of World Heart Day, Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore in association with team Cycle World today organized Cyclothon.   The event was flagged off by renowned Badminton Player, Yasmeen Shaikh, who holds a gold medal for Karnataka and a silver for India.  The cyclothon was initiated from Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal, it went through, Nagavara, Kalyan Nagar and ended at Aster CMI Hospital.   Over 100 cycling enthusiasts rode a distance of 18.4 km.

 Inaugurating the event, Ms. Yasmeen Shaikh, an International Badminton Player, said, “Due to our sedentary and hectic lifestyle, our health has taken a back seat.  This cyclothon is a reminder for us to get active and take care of our hearts.  I take this opportunity and encourage Bangaloreans to adopt heart-healthy practices!”

 On the occasion, Mr. SGS Lakshmanan, COO, of Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore announced ‘To express our gratitude, and acknowledge doctors’ dedication and commitment towards society, this World Heart Day, we are honored to conduct “Free Heart Screening Camp for Doctors.’  They are the backbone of the healthcare system.  In the sprint to take care of patients and service to society, doctors tend to neglect self-care, through this initiative, we would like to honor our doctors for their selfless service, added Mr. Lakshmanan”
