Global Hospitals Celebrates World Kidney Day with Special Kidney Check-Up Packages

Mumbai, March 13,2014: Global Hospitals, India’s leading super specialty care and multi-organ transplantation hospital, is launching new kidney health check-up packages at its Mumbai & Hyderabad locations – commemorating the forthcoming World Kidney Day on 13 March, 2014. The packages will be made available in two variants – Extended Kidney Check-Up Package and Mini Kidney Check-Up Package.

The variants are available at a highly discounted price of INR 2,999 and INR 1,499 respectively in Mumbai and can be availed through the month of March 2014. Global Hospital in Mumbai is located at Dr. E. Borges Road, Opp. Shirodkar High School in Parel.

The Extended Kidney Check-Up Package and Mini Kidney Check-Up Package can be availed in Hyderabad for INR 1650 and INR 950 respectively. The Lakdi-ka-pool branch in Hyderabad will offer the packages on 15 March 2014 while the LB Nagar branch will offer them from 13th to 22nd of March 2014.

Global Hospitals in Bengaluru will offer only offer an Essential Kidney Checkup for INR 699.00 at each of three locations in Kengeri, Vijaynagar and Vivekanandnagara.

The premier institute for organ transplants in India – Global – is encouraging those with the following symptoms – diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, habit of smoking, above the age of 50, and those with history of kidney diseases in the family to take keen interest in having a kidney check-up this month.

As part of the packages, patients can get a Renal Profile, Prostate-Specific Antigen Test, Glycated hemoglobin test amongst various others to gauge the perfect state of their kidneys. Kidney diseases currently affect 1 in every 10 people worldwide and millions have succumbed to complications arising thereof each year.

While in Hyderabad the hospital has two locations – Lakdi-ka-pool and LB Nagar.

World Kidney Day is an initiative to raise awareness of the importance of Kidneys to the overall health of our body; and the associated complications that can arise in case a Kidney disorder. The Day is observed on the 2nd Thursday of March every year, with Global Hospitals taking a lead in raising awareness and offering world class care for Kidney disorders and transplants. BWI
