Delhi, May 21, 2021: On the occasion of World Meditation Day, HCMCT Manipal Hospitals, a multi-speciality medical facility, organised a stress management session followed by a 15-minute guided meditation session for employees and patients across Manipal Hospitals Delhi and Jaipur. The session was organised by the Human Resource Department to educate the importance of mediation during the crisis. The session aimed to raise awareness among hospital staff and patients about the importance of understanding the true meaning of stress management, exercises, and meditation

Sharing her experience with the patients, Nomita Sarkar, HOD Nursing said, “COVID Patients and employees should practice prone positions, breathing exercises & meditation to stay fit. There is so much stress people are undergoing these days which is affecting them mentally as well as physically. Therefore, 10 minutes of meditation daily will help them reduce stress and anxiety to stay positive and healthy.”
