National Seminar on Pulsatile Drug Delivery System – A Promising Approach towards Chronobiological Disease Organized by Columbia College of Pharmacy, Raipur

Raipur, Nov 04, 2014 – Columbia College of Pharmacy, Raipur (C.G) organized a National Seminar on “Pulsatile Drug Delivery System – A Promising Approach towards Chronobiological Disease” on 23rd – 24th August 2014. The seminar was sponsored by Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology, Raipur & Janpragati Education Society, Raipur.

This seminar was organized with an aim to make aware the scientific masses about various aspects of the new drug delivery system and its promising approaches towards various diseases following Chronobiological disorders. The Chief Guest, Prof. Mukund M. Hambarde, Director General of Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology, Raipur, inaugurated the seminar. Mr. Harjeet Singh Hura, Patron of the program & Secretary, Janpragati Education Society, Mr. Surendra Saraf Chairman organizing committee & Principal, Columbia College of Pharmacy & Prof. Amit Roy, Advisory Board Head & Principal, Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, Raipur shared the dais with him. The Chief Guest appreciated the new technology of drug delivery system & being a part of education system he also emphasized on further such developments in the field of research and bringing up such newer and fruitful technologies useful for the society. Mr. Harjeet Singh Hura welcomed all the delegates. Ms. Pragya Baghel, Co-ordinator, gave an overview of the programme. Mr. Surendra Saraf proposed vote of thanks.

Eminent speakers from various Institutions, Universities, and Research Institutes presented their lecture and motivated delegates to formulate & develop new technologies in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences and correlating such technologies with other fields of Science & Technology. More than 100 delegates got themselves registered for the seminar and 51 posters were presented during the poster presentation session. The enthusiasm & zeal shown by the delegates was overwhelming. The discussions created highly scientific environment. The brain storming session that took place will surely elevate the level of research in standardization of herbal formulations.

Prizes for the best presenter were also distributed during the valedictory session. Ms. Pragya Baghel, Co-ordinator, paid her gratitude towards Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology, Raipur & Janpragati Education Society, Raipur, for contributing in successful completion of the Seminar.
