P. M. Narendra Modi Extends Best Wishes to the Organizers & Participants of IIMTC 2016 Scheduled for 3-4 September 2016 in Hyderabad, India

New Delhi, June 02, 2016: Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India extends his best wishes to the success of IIMTC 2016 to take place in Hyderabad, India on September 3-4, 2016. Our Prime Minister is relentlessly working to promote Indian businesses and industries and is also endeavoring to bring FDI to add to the growth of the GDP. In a note to the organizers, he maintains that the Medical Tourism Congress will contribute to the promotion of medical and wellness industry in India.

The country has an incredible potential to emerge as the medical tourism hub of the world and the prime minister’s encouraging words and a positive outlook towards the International India Medical Tourism Congress will prove conducive for all the stakeholders to take this movement forward to attain their respective goals.

This is the third edition of the International India Medical Tourism Congress to take place in Hyderabad this year. Earlier, two editions of the Medical Tourism Congress took place in New Delhi in 2014 and 2015, respectively and witnessed the presence of the dignitaries from the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Health, Govt. of India; Chamber of Commerce, International Associations, besides a number of Academicians as well as Healthcare Professionals.

The third edition too is going to be a knowledge sharing platform for key representatives from the Government Departments and Organizations, Medical Professionals as well as Indian Healthcare Providers. At the same time, experts from the Middle East countries, SAARC countries, European countries and African countries are going to put forth their opinions that will bring important insight for the Indian Medical Tourism industry to enumerate key elements to become the medical tourism destination for the offshore patients.
