Schindler India & Terna Public Charitable Trust Launches Oxygen generator plant in Terna Speciality Hospital & Research Centre

Navi Mumbai, December 14, 2021: Schindler India Private Limited a leading escalator and elevator manufacturing company & Terna Public Charitable Trust jointly launches a PSA Oxygen Generation Plant at Terna Specilality Hospital & Research Centre. Schindler India & Terna Public Charitable Trust had facilitated the setup of oxygen Generation Plant at Terna Speciality Hospital and this oxygen plant works on the principles of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and enable efficient distribution of Oxygen for the needy patients in Navi Mumbai, Raigad & Thane. The Plant is capable of producing 98 Jumbo cylinders per day.  Schindler India Private Limited had taken up this initiative as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Speaking on the occasion Sheetal Shah, Chief People officer from Schindler India Private Limited said, Last 2 years during the pandemic we saw problems occurring due to shortage of Oxygen especially in the second wave of COVID-19, so this is our small contribution to needy people.

Malhar Ranajagjitsinha Patil, Trustee-Terna Public Charitable trust had thanked Schindler India Private Limited for their timely support. Malhar Ranajagjitsinha Patil said this Oxygen plant installation will be of great help for Navi Mumbai & Thane residents as there will be sufficient Oxygen will be available for all types of patients. He also thanked all medical fraternity and the staff of Terna Speciality Hospital & Research Centre for their tireless effort in treating Covid Patients during the pandemic.
