New Delhi, February 23, 2019: Sir Dr. Huz (HuzaifaKhorakiwala), CEO and Trustee, Wockhardt Foundation, & Founder, The World Peacekeepers Movement (TWPM) was awarded HonorisCausa, at DeshBhagat University, MandiGobindgarh by University’s Hon’ble Chancellor and Chief Guests, Shri H R Shah and ShriPawan Kumar Chamling (Chief Minister of Sikkim). The 6th Annual Convocation of DeshBhagat University was graced by Padmashree Awardee Shri H R Shah, Chief Minister of Sikkim, ShriPawan Kumar, who himself received the honor, along with members of the University including the Hon’ble Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Vice President. Bharat RatnaShriPranab Mukherjee was among the awardees of the honor by the University.
Delighted about receiving his 13th Honorary Doctorate Sir Dr. Huz said, “I am really grateful to DeshBhagat University for bestowing upon me the HonorisCausa. I am honored to be a part of this convocation and would like to wish all the students the very best for their futures.”
Sir Dr. Huz has been awarded several times for his outstanding contribution towards the society in the fields of education, health and environment with multiple honors in the past.
