Skinella launches its first-Hand Cleansing Gel

The first-of-its-kind offering by the brand comes as an efficient replacement to harsh hand sanitizers; addressees dry skin woes through its gentle moisturizing action

New Delhi, October 26, 2020: Skinella, a skincare brand for the young target group of 15-25-year-old girls that offers skincare products made with the power of superfoods has launched Hand Cleansing Gel to ensure utmost hygiene and safety for its customers amidst the pandemic. The hand cleansing gel is currently available in the Lemon Zest variant and comes at an affordable price of INR 50/- for 70 ml. Compact packaging makes the product easier to carry while commuting given its indispensable position in the New Normal.

Skinella Hand Cleansing Gel can be purchased from all leading retail outlets pan-India and will be soon available on Amazon, Flipkart, and Nykaa. It is worth noting that the brand ran a promotional campaign offering hand cleansing gel for free on the purchase of Skinella products. The pan-India activity garnered a positive response, especially as the demand for hand sanitizers and cleansers has soared post-pandemic. It can be mentioned that typical hand sanitizers consist of chemicals that are harsh on the skin, leaving it very dry and flaky. Conversely, Skinella Hand Cleansing Gel comprises ingredients that are gentle on hands, while its 70% alcohol content is also highly effective against all kinds of germs. It is self-drying and does not need water for rinsing after use. Hence, the product can be easily used throughout the day for the thorough cleaning of hands.

The development is in sync with the reports linking a surge in demand for hygiene products in personal care. In fact, the requirement for hand cleansers will see a major uptick in the post-pandemic world.

Speaking on the launch, Dolly Kumar, Founder & Director at Cosmic Nutracos Solutions Pvt. Ltd., the parent company said, “Saying that hygiene-based personal care products such as sanitizers are hot sellers amidst COVID-19 would be an understatement. As much as we know, the demand for such items is huge and we cannot ignore the fact that these products totally dwell on chemical compositions that dry out the skin even after a single-use. So you can imagine the degree of harm they can cause by prolonged usage. And given the longevity of the pandemic, these products are bound to become an integral part of our daily lives. Skinella Hand Cleansing Gel is equally good at performing both hygiene and moisturizing functions. It’s a compact all-inclusive gel that saves you from touching common water taps for rinsing after use, making it even easier to carry during travel or to offices.”

Going forward, the personal care industry will have the onus to come up with innovative products that do not compromise on beauty and hygiene. Addressing the same, the brand is all geared to roll out a moisturizing hand wash next month.
