New Delhi, May 26, 2021: The Indian Navy Ship INS Shardul arrived on Tuesday 25th May 2021 at New Mangalore Port Trust in India with 8 ISO tanks and 2 semi trailers carrying around 210 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen and 1200 oxygen cylinders.
During the first phase of relief operation, Kuwait delivered 215 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen and 2600 oxygen cylinders to India by three Indian Navy Ships to Mangalore port in Karnataka and one commercial ship to Nhava Sheva in Mumbai.
The supply cycle between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of India is fully operational and is committed to transport the total 1400 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen to meet the urgent requirements.
