Bengaluru, December 12, 2015: The UBM India Pharma Awards 2015 held on 30th November, 2015 in, Mumbai, celebrated excellence and recognized contribution of Indian Pharmaceutical Companies. The 3rd Edition of Annual India Pharma Awards in association with TAKE solutions provided an opportunity for the companies to showcase their innovations and accomplishments in the sector.
With Ernst & Young as Process Advisors and Avalon Global Research as Knowledge Partner, the nominations involving 13 categories including Operational Excellence, Excellence in Packaging Development, Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility, Excellence in Research & Development, Excellence in Brand / Product, etc. were scrutinised by a jury panel of industry veterans including Dr. Ajit Dangi, President & CEO, Danssen Consulting, Mr. S.V. Veeramani, Chairman & Managing Director, Fourrts (India) Laboratories Pvt Ltd (Chennai), Mr. Divesh Singla, Director, Global Market Insights, IMS Health, Mr. S. Srinivasan, Managing Director, Shriram Industrial Holdings Ltd., Mr. Bhalchandra G. Barve, Joint Managing Director, Blue Cross Laboratories Ltd. and Mr. S.M. Mudda, Director – Global Strategy (Technical), Micro Labs Ltd.
The event which was attended by over 500 guests from the Pharma Sector was marked by an evening of networking and entertainment courtesy, well known Indian stand up artist, Sorabh Pant.
Preceded by sharing of international insights pertaining to the industry by Dr. Steve Arlington, Pharma Vetran & Adviser, TAKE Solutions, The Jury’s Choice Awards were presented in four different categories – Personality of the Year – Female Award was presented to Ms. Vinita Gupta, Lupin Ltd., Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to Mr. Mehul Shah, Encube Ethicals Pvt Ltd., Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Mr. Samprada Singh, Alkem Laboratories Ltd. and Inspirational Leader award was presented to Mr. N. H. Israni, Blue Cross Laboratories Ltd.
