Bengaluru, August 18, 2019: 16 year old boy got a gift of life today after undergoing heart transplant at Narayana Health City. His saviour was a 34 year old woman who was under treatment for SAH (Subarachnoid Hemorrhage at Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal. Doctors had declared her brain dead yesterday (16th August 2019) and the family consented for organ donation.
The heart was transported today morning from Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal to Narayana Health City, Bommasandra.
