New Delhi November 19,2013: The ASSOCHAM National Council on Drug and Pharmaceuticals is chaired by Shri Bhasker Iyer, Divisional Vice President, Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd & co-chaired by Shri Umang Chaturvedi,Global Head-Corporate Affairs, Ranbaxy India Ltd.
The second meeting of the council was held on September 17, 2013 at ASSOCHAM House, 5, S. P. Marg, Chankyapuri, New Delhi (Minutes attached).
In continuation with the same, the 3rd meeting of the constituted council will take place as per the following schedule:-

i.Introductory remarks by Chairman & Co chairman
ii.Reading out of minutes of 2nd Council Meeting
iii.Brainstorming on emerging issues in Pharmaceutical industry & possible interventions by ASSOCHAM
iv. Discussion on the position paper on Clinical Trials
v. Discussion on the position paper on Fixed Dose Drug Combinations (FDCs)
vi. Discussion on the forthcoming event “Access to Healthcare”
vii. Exploring possibility of forming consortium to work in collaboration with public sector and governments on health issues
viii.Any other agenda with permission of the Chairman
