51-year-old woman successfully treated for thoracic aortic aneurysm using minimally invasive TEVAR surgery at Apex Group of Hospitals

Mumbai, September 17, 2024: 51-year-old woman Mrs. Swati Pandit (name changed) from Dahisar started complaining of chest pain of left side frequently and after taking basic treatments from local doctors she didn’t get relief from this pain. Her family decided to take for detailed evaluation from renowned Hospitals in Borivali and She was then referred to Dr Maunil Ajay Bhuta- Chief Interventional Radiologist at Apex Mulitspeciality Hospitals, Borivali who advised an CT Aortogram after her ECG, 2d echo and blood tests which all turned out to be normal.  CT Aortogram clinched the diagnosis which was a descending thoracic aortic dissection and aneurysm.
