New Delhi, November 05, 2015: The 67th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC)the most sought after power packed flagship annual congress and exhibition of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association(IPCA), isscheduled from the 19th – 21st of December in the beautiful city of Mysuru, will attract all the Practicing Pharmacists, Pharmaceutical Scientists, Academics, Researchers and Pharmaceutical Industry leaders from all over the country to probe into the issue of working towards the best possible roles in order to realize the vision of a “Healthy India-Swasth Bharat”.

IPCA is the federation of five National Pharmaceutical Associations viz. IPA- Indian Pharmaceutical Assocation, IHPA- Indian Hospital Pharmacists Assocation, APTI- Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, IPGA- Indian Pharmacy Graduates Assocaition, AIDCOC- All India Drug Control Officers Association.

In all these fields, their aim is to ensure optimum drug therapy, both by contributing to the preparation, supply and control of medicines and associated products, and by providing information and advice to those who prescribe or use pharmaceutical products. The Pharmacist in India is no longer a mere dispenser of medicines, but has assumed a more crucial role in healthcare through effective management of the medicines and leadership in healthcare delivery of the country.
