New Delhi, July 09, 2019: This year DAAS Summit not only created a platform where doctors from across the country came together to a common platform to exchange ideas/ knowledge but also supporting doctors who are contributing towards society through different initiatives.
DAAS Summit is supporting Chhoti Chhoti Khusiyan NGO initiative by Dr Varun Khullar by providing tuition to the girls, Mahaan Charitable Foundation (MCF) an initiative by Dr. Anuj Pall and Mrs. Shivani Pall, with charity, and Dr Raj Raman and Dr Hema Raman who are doing tree plantation in Panipat by providing 25 trees guards.
Talking about DAAS Summit, Dr R P Gupta, Organizing President, DAAS Summit said, “This is the only summit where the doctors come together from different specialities to exchange ideas through lectures, panel discussions, live workshops for a better understanding, and treatment of skin diseases. With continuous support and with our signature style of imparting knowledge we will be back again next year.
Dr Rohit Batra, Organizing Secretary DAAS Summit said, “This year we covered various topics from Interesting case studies to serious skin disorders like leprosy, Vitiligo, lupus to cosmetic problems & treatments. The moto was ‘Knowledge sans boundaries.’ We have been working hard for our families but working for our society is equally important.”
The Summit was inaugurated by Dr. Girish Tyagi, President DMA on 5th July. Dr Girish Tyagi, President DMA, congratulated DAAS Summit for building a platform where knowledge can be exchanged and enhanced. He also commented on the latest doctor strikes and stated that we should create awareness between doctors and patients that there can be many solutions to file a complaint rather than violence.
Talking about Chhoti Chhoti Khusiyan NGO, Dr Varun Khullar said, “That he is extremely happy to get the support for tuition for his initiative. He has been working for 4 years towards imparting knowledge to underprivileged orphanage girls and 120 girls have been educated so far. With the support of DAAS Summit he is confident that the numbers will go high.
According to Dr Anuj Pall & Dr Shivani Pall, “We are grateful to the team of DAAS Summit for supporting our initiative Mahaan Charitable Foundation (MCF). We have been raising funds for floods, droughts and earthquake reliefs, and providing free treatment to the acid attack victims, Friday free market for marginalized community. The dermatology council support will help us reach more people.
This year DAAS Summit also witnessed a program crafted by Scientific Chairpersons Dr Shyam Verma & Dr Archana Singal covering all aspects of dermatology where special attention was given towards the menace of fungal Infection that India is facing now days. Dr. Archana pointed out the two USPs of DAAS – 1. Multi-specialties participation and 2. Panel Discussions. The sojourn of interaction between the moderators, panelists and audience is the best way to learn practical aspects about how to manage challenging aspect of dermatology.
