New Delhi, November 16, 2018: Sir Dr. Huz (Huzaifa Khorakiwala), CEO and Trustee, Wockhardt Foundation, & Founder, has been recently honored with Global Ambassador of Peace award by the RK HIV Aids Research Foundation. He has been privileged to have received another outstanding award in 2018. The award was conferred by R K HIV AIDS Research Foundation. Sir Dr. Huz for over the past many years has been doing commendable work for the welfare of the society
The Global Peace award is an honour that recognizes the outstanding ability, and the services rendered to human kind through peace.
Under his leadership, Wockhardt Foundation has been continuously working for the poor, weak and needy through various initiatives ranging from medical vans, e-learning infrastructure in schools, toy libraries, sanitation facilities, recycling machines etc. The Foundation under his leadership has over 130 mobile medical vans providing free primary healthcare to over 2.5 million rural Indian people every year. Wockhardt Foundation has also been awarded United Nations Special Consultative Status.
Sir Dr. Huz works closely with his team for the upliftment of the under privileged sections of the society. His efforts are well recognized for the work he has done through Wockhardt Foundation for the betterment of the society. In recent times his untiring efforts towards peace have received great acclaim.
