MedicalTech Innovation Forum to address integral challenges faced by the Indian medical devices industry

Jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt India and Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), the first-ever physical edition of MedicalTech Innovation Forum at Visakhapatnam will bring leaders from medical technology industry to discuss opportunties, encourage indigenous manufacturing and innovation of medical devices through its lucrative knowledge-packed discussions.

Messe Frankfurt India and Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) are geared up to host the very first edition of MedicalTech Innovation Forum (MIF) from 7 – 8 October 2021 at Kalam Convention Centre, AMTZ Campus, Visakhapatnam. 

Supporting India’s bid to develop its healthcare infrastructure and to create strong ecosystem for its medical devices industry, the MedicalTech Innovation Forum will largely address integral challenges of import dependency, need for technology collaborations and medical technology advancements that can be introduced in the industry. 

The medical device industry, acknowledged as one of India’s ‘sunrise sectors’ under the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, has witnessed considerable growth over the years and continues to display significant potential, however there are still several gaps that needs to be filled. 

To address the challenges of the industry, the two-day conference will host policy makers, national and international leaders from medical technology industries, academic and research fraternity at its panels, such as:
