Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi Hosts Yoga Session for Navi Mumbai Police On International Yoga Day 2025

Navi Mumbai, June 21, 2025: On the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day, Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi, in association with the Art of Living Foundation, organized a rejuvenating yoga session for Police officers and hospital staff. The session was attended by over 100 participants. Aligned with this year’s global theme—’One Earth, One Health’—the event aimed to promote preventive healthcare and foster holistic well-being among the police force through the practice of yoga.

The session was led by a certified Art of Living instructor, and featured a series of structured breathing exercises, postures, and relaxation techniques designed to energize the body and calm the mind. The chief guests at the event were Hon. Kishor Salvi-PI, Head Administration, Vashi Police Station and Mr. Chandrakant Dedhiya, President of Kutch Yuvak Sangh, Navi Mumbai; they were accompanied by Mr Nitin Kamaria, Facility Director, Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi.

Speaking on the initiative,Hon. Kishor Salvi-PI, Head Administration, Vashi Police station said,“Yoga is a time-honored practice that calms the body and clears the mind. It promotes focused movement and controlled breathing which help reduce stress, increase focus and boost emotional well-being, which are some of the most important benefits for demanding jobs such as police force. International Yoga Day is a reminder to incorporate such practices into daily life.
