ACG Worldwide Chairman Ajit Singh Honoured with Pharma Industry ‘Lifetime Achievement Award 2012’ by IES

Indian Education Society has bestowed this award on Mr. Singh for his contribution to the pharmaceutical industry.

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Monday, January 14, 2013 — (Business Wire India) — ACG Worldwide Chairman Mr. Ajit Singh was honoured with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award 2012’ by Indian Education Society (IES) on Friday, 23 November, 2012, at the IES College, Mumbai. He was presented the award at INSIGHT 2012-13, an Annual Pharma Conference, for his outstanding contribution to the pharmaceutical industry. IES, through IES Management College & Research Centre (IES MCRC), organized INSIGHT 2012-13 with the theme, “Pharma and Healthcare Industry 2020 – Strategies for Sustainability and Growth.”

Since 2005, Mr. Singh has served on the Board of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) as an Expert Member. He also served as Vice-President and now continues as an Executive Committee Member of the Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI). He was also nominated on the International Board of the Controlled Release Society, USA.

He is Chairman Emeritus of the India Affiliate – International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) and was honoured as the ‘Member of the Year’. Mr. Singh is also the Founder & President of the Health Foods & Dietary Supplements Association (HADSA – India) and serves on the Executive Committee of the International Alliance of Dietary/Food Supplement Associations (IADSA), Brussels. He was the former President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) and is an Advisor to the US Pharmacopoeia for India.
