Jaipur, September 04, 2019: Narayan Seva Sansthan – a charitable organization that runs charitable hospitals in the country for Specially-abled people, in particular polio and by-birth disabled, organizing another Artificial Limb Measurement Camp in Jaipur on 01 September. Wherever 22 specially abled got measured and will gets benefitted by obtaining artificial limbs for better mobility.
Early in August this year, Narayan Seva Sansthan‘s Senior Prosthetics and Orthotics specialist team supervised the Measurement and Distribution camp where polio affected as well as those who lost their legs/hands due to diabetes, accidents, etc, got themselves measured for artificial limbs.
Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “We have provided around 99,133 calipers, 10,452 wheelchairs and around 3,646 tricycles which we feel are not adequate. That is why Narayan Seva Sansthan runs ‘Measurement and Distribution Camp’ initiatives across India to help every underprivileged differently abled to be able to ambulate by themselves.”
Narayan Seva Sansthan has a ‘Smart Village for Differently- Abled’ with all the facilities that these individuals may require. The Sansthan operates with its 480 branches in India and 86 branches abroad focusing on alleviating disabilities. As a daily practice, a free of cost vehicle is assigned by Narayan Seva Sansthan to pick up the patients and their families from Udaipur Railway Station while also providing free accommodation and food at Narayan Seva Sansthan.
