Company Profile

Aphali Pharmaceuticals Ltd, one of the most trusted names in Ayurvedic pharmaceutical industry, is a result of in-depth exploration and extensive research of the 5000 years old scriptures and texts that carried the origins of Ayurved. Aphali Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a name to reckon with assured quality.

Aphali was started as a philanthropic institution by Late Pachnan Gune Shastri, a renowned scholar, vaidya and Ayurvedartha (practitioner of Ayurved). Shastri ji had written several books on Ayurveda and had innovated various therapies that are regarded as basic prescriptions of Ayurveda in Ayurvedic medical colleges even today. To meet the increasing demand of Ayurvedic medicines and to provide them to the community at large, Shastri ji felt the need to start a highly qualitative Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing set up. Under the guidance of Shastri ji, his son started the Ayurved Pharmacy Ltd after completion of B.Pharma from Benaras Hindu University in 1950. The philanthropic institution transcended into viable commercial organisational and was re-christened as Aphali Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Aphali till date continues to follow the principles of the ancient science of healing and the legacy of prescriptions researched and advocated by Shastri ji, to manufacture highly qualitative medicines today, as stated in the age old Ayurvedic texts. Today, Aphali boasts the principles of ancient science being manufactured at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
