Bangalore, April 26, 2019: In view of the summer heat and the associated health effects on children, Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore recently conducted a free medical check-up camp for children at an NGO Rainbow Home, Jalahalli. More than 50 kids between the ages of 5 to 16 years were part of the free health screening. The session was led by a gentle and nurturing team of staff nurses and paediatricians who guided the children through the tests, which comprised of an evaluation of the height, weight, blood pressure and vision check. The team also educated the little ones on the value of undertaking regular health screenings and basic guidelines to take care of one’s health. The hospital team conducted individual paediatric consultations to answer any queries/doubts that a child may have regarding his/her health. The health camp was initiated and managed by ‘Aster Volunteers’ and conducted in association with Rainbow Home, an NGO which is a part of Need Base India and works in association with government schools.
Aster CMI Hospital has continuously been touching little lives in their special ways for the last few years as a part of the global CSR platform titled ‘Aster Volunteers’.
