Chakravarthi AVPS, elected as President and Kiran Madhunapantula honoured as Chairman Emeritus of INBA H — an India-Netherlands Business Association.

Hyderabad, November 25 , 2018….. Chakravarthi AVPS, Hyderabad’s industrialist and Pharmaceutical Packaging expert elected as President of INBA H —India-Netherlands Business Association.

The founder President Kiran Madhunapantula and COO, coMakeIT a leading software products development company is honoured as its Chairman Emeritus in the 2018 AGM of the association just held in the city.

The newly elected team comprises of Chakravarthi as President, K Srihari Secretary, Sashikant, Vice President.

Chakravarthi AVPS is currently global Ambassador for World Packaging Organisation, the honor bestowed on him last year.

INBA is a trade body that works to improve bilateral trade between India and the Netherlands. Few inspired Indians and Dutch nationals started the national organization.  They aimed to support Dutch business in the region and Indian industry from this region to and with the Netherlands.

The CEO and Managing Director of city-based Ecobliss India, Chakravarthi, responding on his election says INBA AP & TS Chapter aims to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries by facilitating mutually profitable business relationships.

The Netherlands remains among the top 10 partners of India regarding trade volume, he added.

Little over 200 Indian companies based in the Netherlands. Many Indian Companies such as Tata Steel, Apollo, Hinduja group have trade ties.  Dutch companies KLM, Unilever, Shell, and Banks such as Rabobank and ING have a significant presence in India.

INBA Hyderabad is also a platform for the Netherlands based companies in Telangana and Andra Pradesh to share their business experience through networking events, occasional meetings and events.

We work for two way business development between India and the Netherlands.  INBA advises Indian and Netherlands companies and persons in the various stages of business development.  We endeavour to foster commerce through exchanging experiences and ideas among the members. Moreover, through this body, we will showcase India as a high potential destination for FDI.  We will also facilitate Dutch companies to do business in India and as well as Dutch nationals coming to India to integrate easily in business and other areas including social environment.

We will host regular meetings, workshops, networking events, lectures and panel discussions by professionals and industrialists from Indian and Dutch markets on relevant topics. We will also participate in Dutch trade missions. We will also work closely with the Embassy of Netherland in India informed Chakravarthi.

The trade relationships between India and The Netherlands are over seven decades old as both countries established trade relationships with each other way back in the year 1947. In the last 4/5 years, heads of both India and The Netherlands visited each other’s nations.

Indo-Dutch contacts go back to more than 400 years. Official relations, which established in 1947, have been cordial and friendly.

The Netherlands has the second largest population of people of Indian origin in Europe, next only to the UK. According to Indian Embassy in at Hague at The Netherlands, a 235,000-strong Indian Diaspora is an essential element that helps foster closer ties with the Netherlands, informs Chakravarthy.

Prime Minister some time ago described The Netherlands as India’s ‘natural partner.’

The Ties between India and the Netherlands are ancient. Our bilateral relations are stable too observed Kiran Madhunapantula, the founder President. It may be apt to mention here, says Kiran, that the Netherlands is the 5th largest investment partner globally and it has emerged as the third largest source of FDI for the country.

‘Our mission is to bridge the gap between the Indo-Dutch business community by delivering information on the people, ideas and technologies changing the world to our community of affluent business decision makers’ Kiran added.

Another strong relationship with these two countries is the Netherland is the entry point for India to enter into Europe, as Europe is India’s biggest trading partner and 20 percent of India’s export to Europe comes through the Netherlands. “

The Hyderabad Chapter of INBA which is responsible for the states of Andhrapradesh and Telangana has around 20member companies and participation of around 50 companies which have some ductch connection. Going by the interest generated with the Indo Dutch ties, Chakravarthi said the membership will be increased substantially in the coming years.INBA H has the distinction of playing an active role in leading trade delegations of Indo Dutch companies for discussions with chief ministers of both the states in the past he added.

Chakravarthi is the former Chairman of Indian Institute of Packaging, Hyderabad and was chairman for Golden Jubilee Celebrations Committee. Member and advisor of various industry associations, Chakravarthi is actively associated with Packaging activities worldwide. He has toured extensively worldwide and delivered lectures on different topics in several countries. He acted as jury for various national and international awards.

Kiran is co-founder and COO of coMakeIT and is based in Hyderabad, India. Kiran is a tech entrepreneur who grew from a talented technology architect and evolved into a widely respected leader in the technology sector. Together with his Dutch partner, Kiran does investments into technology ventures that bring the Dutch innovation and Indian talent together.As the founder President of India-Netherlands Business Circle chapter of Hyderabad, Kiran worked with various public, and private agencies to promote business relations between the Netherlands and India.
