‘Redressing 21st Century Health Challenges –Fostering Public-Private Collaborations’

New Delhi, August 15, 2017: 22^nd August 2017: 1000 Hrs: Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi. Public Health remains a major concern in India with high infant and maternal mortalities, a growing burden of NCDs and various environmental factors like the quality of air and water, self-prescribing drugs ,distrust in different Public Health delivery systems etc. These contribute to issues related to Public Health that require deeper deliberations with the government and the private sector.

Much of the vision for ‘Health for All’ and ‘Health in All’ as articulated in the National Health Policy 2017 require a cohesive public and private action which is multifold and simultaneous. Towards this, convening a deliberation platform of experts who bring vast experience of handling Public Health delivery, in varied and dynamic geographies, is a good opportunity to build consensus, forge partnerships and collaborations that truly help to serve Public Health needs and demands.

CII is organizing the CII Public Health Conference scheduled for 22^nd August, at Hotel The Lalit, Barakhambha Road, New Delhi. This Conference will be a unique multi-stakeholder platform that will bring together Senior Government Officials, Industry Leaders, Innovators, Public Health experts together to discuss the vision of National Health Policy (NHP) 2017 and catalyze private sector participation to strengthen public health delivery systems.
