Cipla, the fourth largest pharma company in India with net sales of Rs. 14,750 crore, has initiated ‘Innoventia’ that is envisioned to be the world’s biggest innovation challenge to crowdsource and incubate disruptive ideas in healthcare.
Innoventia is looking for innovators that have the zeal to disrupt the healthcare space and find a solution to meet the unmet needs of patients.
Cipla’s Growth Challenge is a contest for everyone all around the globe. The ideas could range from pharma, diagnostics, devices, digital and services, to any other way to help in taking Cipla’s purpose of ‘Caring for Life’ forward. Ideas can be at any stage of ideation – from the idea stage to early revenue stage.
The most disruptive ideas will be selected by a distinguished panel consisting of prominent industry leaders. Cipla, on the other hand, will give the winner an opportunity to elevate that unique idea by partnering, investing and incubating it with a $15 million especially allocated for this purpose. Investment size may vary from few Rs. in crore to $15 million.
