New Delhi, April 30, 2025: Aakash Healthcare recently organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event titled ‘Pearls in Paediatric Nephrology’, bringing together leading child health experts, nephrologists, paediatricians, and radiologists from across Delhi-NCR. Held at the hospital’s Sanskriti Auditorium, the event focused on the latest developments in diagnosing and managing kidney-related conditions in children.
The academic programme was led by Dr. Syed Mustafa Hasan, Director & Head of Paediatrics & Neonatology, and Dr. Neha Bhandari, Senior Consultant, Paediatric Nephrology, who served as programme directors and advisors. With their guidance, the sessions were designed to encourage collaborative learning, and better clinical outcomes.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Aashish Chaudhry, Managing Director, Aakash Healthcare, who also attended as the Chief Guest.
“Bringing experts together on a common platform to share knowledge is one of the best ways to improve patient care. At Aakash Healthcare, we’re committed to creating more such learning opportunities that help doctors stay updated and provide patients the best possible treatment,” said Dr. Aashish Chaudhry.
The event kicked off with an eye-opening session by Dr. Meinal Chaudhry titled ‘Radiology Pearl in Pediatric Nephrology’. She shared fascinating real-life cases and highlighted how timely imaging can make all the difference in diagnosing kidney issues in children often before symptoms even appear.
This was followed by an engaging session on ‘Nephrotic Syndrome: Approach & Management’ by Dr. Neha Bhandari, offering practical insights into diagnosis and treatment. The session was supported by a panel of experts from both Aakash Healthcare and Max Hospitals.
A highlight of the day was a dynamic panel discussion on ‘Complications of Nephrotic Syndrome’, moderated by Dr. Sidharth Kumar Sethi, Senior Consultant, Paediatric Nephrology at Medanta. Esteemed speakers including Dr. Smita Mishra, Dr. Kanav Anand, and Dr. Vaishakhi Rustagi added diverse perspectives from their respective specialties.
With kidney-related issues in children becoming increasingly common, the CME created a valuable space for clinical collaboration and knowledge exchange reflecting Aakash Healthcare’s continued commitment to medical education and better health outcomes for children.
