Continuing Education Programme for Registered pharmacists conducted at Laureate Institute of Pharmacy

Bengaluru, November 19, 2015: Laureate Institute of Pharmacy in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh State Pharmacy Council has successfully completed the Continuing Pharmacy Education Programme on 01/11/2015. In the beginning of this programme the Director, Laureate Group of Institutions and Chief Guest of this programme Dr. Ran Singh had welcomed all the dignitaries of H.P. State Pharmacy Council. The Registrar, H.P. State Pharmacy Council Shri Kamlesh Nayak had pledged Pharmacy Oath with all registered Pharmacist Present in the C.E.P. Programme.

Shri Gopal Sharma, President of the council has explained about the need of drug information centre in the state and stated that by January 2016 the council will sign MoU with Laureate Institute of Pharmacy for starting DIC in the state.

The programme was organized as a part of renewa to aware the Pharmacist about Drugs and related information. Seminars were also organized by the State Pharmacy Council. The first seminar was given by Principal, Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Dr. M. S. Ashawat, he delivered a talk on “Drug Information Center and its need in Himachal Pradesh”.

In next Seminar Mr. Nishant Gautam made every one aware about “Schedule H1” Drugs.

The Last Seminar was delivered by Professor & Vice Principal, Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Dr. Vinay Pandit. He delivered a talk on “Bioequivalence & Hospital Pharmacist”. During the programme Institute Director Dr. Ran Singh, President Pharmacy Council Shri Gopal Sharma and Registrar Pharmacy Council Shri Kamlesh Nayak had honored the senior pharmacists of the state. Also, the State Pharmacy Council had awarded the University/Institute Toppers of Laureate Institute of Pharmacy. In this Programme the Chairman of C. E. P. Shri Hemant Kumar, Members of Pharmacy Council Shri Surinder Nadda and Shri B. L. Gupta, Senior Vice President of H. P. Hospital Pharmacy Association Shri Vishal Kumar, President Kangra Shri Suresh Vasudev, Senior Vice President Shri Bharat Bhushan and others were present.
