Dabur Chyawanprash In Chocolate Flavour

New Delhi, Jan 02, 2015 –
Marking a big innovation in the Chyawanprash market, India’s largest Ayurvedic and natural healthcare company Dabur India Ltd today announced the launch of its flagship healthcare brand Dabur Chyawanprash in new chocolate-flavoured variant. Dabur Chyawanprash Chocolate offers the same 100% goodness of Dabur Chyawanprash in a yummy chocolate flavour that would appeal to children.

“This marks a new first for Dabur Chyawanprash and for the healthcare industry in India. Consumers have always sworn by the health benefits of Dabur Chyawanprash and we are now offering the same immunity and health benefits of Dabur Chyawanprash in a tastier form with the launch of Chocolate flavoured Chyawanprash. This launch would go a long way in expanding the consumer base for this age-old health tonic,” said Dabur India Ltd Category Head-Health Supplements Mr. Ajay Parihar.

The new variants are packed with the 100% goodness of Dabur Chyawanprash and contain the same 47 Ayurvedic ingredients like Amla, Ashwagandha and Guduchi which build your immunity. “We found that a large number of youth, particularly kids, found the sharp taste of Chyawanprash a big entry barrier. People feel that products that are healthy can never be tasty. The new Chyawanprash flavoured variants end this dichotomy between health and taste. Now, all your child has to do is take two spoonfuls of these tasty treats every day,” Mr. Parihar added. “A year back, we had introduced Chyawanprash Mango and Chyawanprash Mixed Fruit, which appealed to the taste buds of the younger audience. We are now extending this flavoured portfolio with the launch of Dabur Chyawanprash Chocolate.”

Dabur Chyawanprash Chocolate will be available in two variants of 450gm and 900gm, priced at Rs 168 and Rs 300 respectively.

“Dabur is committed towards the health and well-being of every household, and Dabur Chyawanprash is the true Indian Ayurvedic holistic health and wellness product for all seasons and age-groups,” Mr. Parihar said adding: “Today’s fast-paced and highly competitive lifestyle, increasing pollution levels, epidemics like dengue, unhygienic food & water are all taking a toll on our health. A strong immune system helps protect from a host of diseases and recurring ailments. However, most of us do not have a strong immune system and hence are susceptible to diseases. This is especially true for children since their immune system is still developing and hence they can be more vulnerable. In this backdrop, Dabur Chyawanprash — being one of the leading healthcare brands in the country –- has also taken up the responsibility to drive awareness on the need for immunity especially amongst children, the future of the country.” Business Line
