New Delhi, December 08, 2023 : Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in collaboration with Dr. L.K. Gandhi Dental and Medical Education Trust inaugurated the Dr. L.K. Gandhi-Shroff Eye Institute at IDST Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh to carry forward its mission to make a lasting impact on the eradication of blindness and deliver eye care services to the unreached population. The new centre will provide full-fledged outpatient services in its first phase of its launch and soon will start providing eye surgeries as well through its state-of-the-art IPD services.
Dr. L. K. Gandhi-Shroff Eye Institute will deliver high quality, comprehensive eye care to the population of Modinagar and surrounding areas, irrespective of their ability to pay and has plans to provide sight restoring eye surgeries for more than 6000 patients annually in the initial phase. In the years to come the new Dr. L.K. Gandhi- Shroff Eye Institute plans to benefit about one lakh people annually.
