New Delhi, Jan 27, 2015 – Dr J Vijay Venkatraman has been awarded the FELLOWSHIP of the Pharmaceutical Information & Pharmacovigilance Association, UK (FPIPA) on 21-Jan-2015, in line with the eligibility criteria set by PIPA as a professional accreditation association. He is the first fellow of PIPA hailing from India.
PIPA is the professional organization for individuals who are involved in the provision and management of information and those involved in the fulfillment of regulatory requirements relating to drug safety. The association was formed in 1974 and now represents over 800 members who work in a variety of pharmaceutical information management roles, such as medical information, pharmacovigilance, scientific research information and business information. PIPA, an international society, is headquartered at Haslemere in Surrey, UK.
At this juncture, Dr J Vijay Venkatraman would like to thank you very much for all of constant encouragement and strong support rendered to his various activities pertaining to Pharmacovigilance, over the past decade, without which this milestone could not have been achieved.
