First International Medical Training Workshop organized in Navi Mumbai Expert doctors from 20 states participated in IMSACON 2022

Mumbai, November 24, 2022: International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA), Terna Medical College and Terna Specialty Hospital and Research Center organized the 39th Annual Medical Conference (IMSACON) in a spacious auditorium at Terna Knowledge City in Nerul.  The conference was attended by surgeons, medical examination specialists, professors of medical hospitals and officers from social organizations from private and government hospitals from Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu.  This medical conference was guided by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland.  Medical experts from this college interacted with doctors in this conference through the internet.  International Medical Sciences was established in 1981 as a global organization with a vision to improve universal health and is headquartered in New Delhi. Since its inception nearly three decades ago, the academy has come a long way in fulfilling its original objectives.  Today it is one of the prestigious institutes in biomedical sciences that retains academic and social relevance. The organization has a tripartite approach to fulfill the vision of better universal health. Biomedical research, Medical education and Quality healthcare delivery are the three main components of its mission.  It aims to originate, develop, establish and disseminate high standards in health services regardless of geographical boundaries.

Giving more information about this, Dr. Prof. Dnyanesh Madhukar Belekar Head of Surgery Department of Terana Medical College and Secretary Organizer of Imsacon Medical Council said, “The conference was focused on research and development in various specialties through plenary lectures by medical experts, symposia, workshops, clinical sessions and oral and e-poster sessions.  The aim was to promote continuing medical education and to encourage the exchange of facts and ideas on how to deal with various disorders involving patients internationally.  Various international and national medical faculties participated in this educational banquet and presented their vast experience to the audience.  The conference was organized on the premise that medical knowledge is immeasurable and when presented to medical experts, that knowledge is used to save the patient.”
