Fresh Bus Onboards 21 Women Drivers, Strengthening Gender Inclusion in Public Mobility

New Delhi, January 12, 2026: Fresh Bus has announced the induction of 21 women drivers for internship  into its fleet, marking a significant step towards building a more inclusive and diverse mobility ecosystem. The initiative has been undertaken in collaboration with Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) Telangana, Vertelo and MOWO, Social Initiatives Foundation,  with a shared vision of enabling women to access sustainable livelihoods in the transport sector.

The women drivers have undergone structured training focused on safe driving practices, route management, customer interaction and operational readiness, equipping them to operate buses confidently and professionally. Through this collaboration, Fresh Bus aims to challenge traditional gender roles within public transport and create long-term employment opportunities for women.
