GoAir partners with mfine to offer free consultation on COVID-19

– GoAir customers can avail CoronaVirus related medical advice on mfine using the GoAir promo code

New Delhi, March 23, 2020: GoAir – Asia’s most trusted and punctual airline – has been taking multiple steps to ensure safety of passengers in the wake of the COVID-19 situation. Further extending its support, the airline has partnered with mfine, an AI powered, on-demand healthcare service which enables virtual medical consultations to offer medical assistance for its customers from the comfort of their home and office or even while they are on the go. GoAir customers can avail the exclusive consultation on the mfine app by using the promo code available on www.goair.in.

GoAir’s customer care centers have been receiving daily queries related to not just travel in times of CoronaVirus, but also advice on health or medical help. Therefore to address the situation, GoAir has tied up with mfine for cases wherein customers have any medical queries or are worried about their symptoms of cold and flu, they can get assessed by a doctor. mfine’s Coronavirus Assessment is built specifically to triage coronavirus symptoms at the earliest. mfine lets doctors consult with patients over audio or video to help alleviate their fears and asserting if a patient requires immediate attention or if they are going to be okay. Passengers across any age group or gender, with queries about before or after flight travel or any query about the Coronavirus Outbreak can connect with medical experts and doctors from trusted hospitals across the country free of cost.  In such times where misleading and vague information is so rampant, GoAir with mfine is assuring customers of authentic and curated medical information.

Following are the steps to avail the offer by visiting page on GoAir website dedicated to COVID19:

Download mfine app and sign up (The mfine app is available on Android and iOS.)

  • Click on the ‘Corona Care’ banner on the homepage to start the assessment
  • Select the doctor and start your consultation
  • At the payment checkout page, remove the default code and use GoAir’s code that you receive on filing the form online
  • Continue with your consultation

In the past few weeks, GoAir has undertaken steps to ease flight travel and ensure passengers’ health through various initiatives. Right from deep cleaning of aircrafts and check-in counters at airports to offering sanitizing material to crew and introducing a flexible and convenient ‘Year Long Peace of Mind’ program that will protect the PNR to avoid the hassles of rescheduling and cancellation. The offer will apply to all existing and new bookings made between 1st March 2020 and 15th April 2020 – wherein customers who have booked any flight on any sector will be rest assured to NOT to initiate any rescheduling or cancellation. If a customer cannot or chooses not to travel, they can simply not show up for the flight and GoAir will protect the PNR for a period of one year. The passenger can contact GoAir at any time over the next one year to redeem this ticket on ANY GoAir flight on any date between 15th April 2020 and 15th April 2021 with no charges being levied (fare difference may be applicable).

mfine is currently assisting more than 2500 consultations everyday. The startup has over 750 doctors from 225 leading hospitals consulting across 25 specialities on its platform. mfine was founded in 2017 by Ashutosh Lawania and Prasad Kompalli and partners with leading and trusted hospitals instead of aggregating individual doctors. mfine users can consult doctors from their preferred hospitals via chat or video to get prescriptions and/or routine care.
