On National Science Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to the scientists and said the government is committed to encouraging research and innovation in the field.
“National Science Day is an occasion to remember the dedication, determination and untiring efforts of our scientists. They are India’s pride,” he said in a statement.
“On National Science Day we salute the brilliance & long-lasting contribution of Sir CV Raman to the field of science,” he said.
