EVA,the latest and revolutionary scalp cooling technology also known as Smart Temperature Management, apart from being cost effective, it is also effective in maintaining the physical and mental beauty of the patient. Scalp cooling system is a machine to prevent hair fall which is placed on the patient’s head during the chemotherapy process, which reduces the temperature of the scalp and reduces the effect of chemo on the hair follicles. In this procedure, a special cooling cap is placed on the patient’s head which maintains the exact temperature during the chemo infusion. Mr. Venkateshwarlu Marapaka, COO, HCG Cancer Centre Nagpur, said that “We are delighted to launch one-of-a-kind Asia`s first scalp cooling therapy for cancer patients. This Therapy will be a beacon of hope for all our patients.
