Bangalore, March 29,2014 – HCG Foundation, the charity arm of Healthcare Global Enterprise, in association with Infosys Foundation launched the Mobile Cancer Clinic, staffed with a doctor, nurse and paramedical staff, is equipped with Mammography, X –Ray system, Ultrasound system, Pathology and Lab. The mobile cancer clinic will start by providing cancer care in North Karnataka.
Mrs. Sudha Murthy, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation , on the inauguration of the mobile clinic said “It gives me immense pleasure to inaugurate the 1st Mobile Cancer Clinic for North Karnataka. This will be an immense boon to people who hitherto would not have had access to quality cancer care in the remote areas. If this model works, I’m willing to donate another mobile cancer clinic.”
