HCG NMR Cancer Centre Hubli organizes Bikeathon to raise Breast Cancer Awareness

Hubli, December 13, 2023:  HCG NMR Cancer Centre Hubli took a proactive step in the fight against breast cancer by organizing a Bikeathon to raise awareness about the critical importance of early detection. The event, flagged off by Mrs. Veena Chetan Baradwad, Mayor of Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, saw an impressive turnout of over 400 bikers.

The bikeathon displayed solidarity as participants started the ride from HCG NMR Cancer Centre, covering a circuit including I.B. Circle, Channamma Circle, Mission Compound, Girani Chawl Circle, Vikas Nagar Circle, Hosur Circle to Unkal Lake. This remarkable event showcased the spirit of community engagement and made significant strides in promoting early breast cancer detection, thus empowering individuals with knowledge about the importance of breast health.

 Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Veena Chetan Baradwad, Mayor of Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, said, “I am delighted to be part of this inspiring initiative by HCG NMR Cancer Centre.
