HCG Panda Cancer Hospital Cuttack organises bikeathon to create awareness on Breast Cancer

Cuttack, November 07,2023: Marking the breast cancer awareness month in October HCG Panda Cancer Hospital, Cuttack, organized a Bikeathon to raise awareness on breast cancer. The bikeathon was flagged off by Prof Dr. Krupasindhu Panda (Medical Director, HCG Panda Cancer Hospital) & Mr. Santanu Das (COO, HCG Panda Cancer Hospital). The bike rally displayed solidarity as participants pedalled from Telengapentha to Nandankanan Chak and back to Telengapentha, covering a distance of 45 kilometres.

The bikeathon commenced at 7 a.m. in the morning and witnessed an enthusiastic participation from over 100 bikers. This remarkable event showcased the spirit of community engagement and made significant strides in promoting early breast cancer detection, thus empowering individuals with knowledge about the importance of breast health.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Prateek Jain, Regional Business Head – East & AP, Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd. said, “The Bikeathon was driven by the mission to highlight the importance of early detection in the battle against breast cancer, a disease that can be effectively treated when detected early.
