ICPA Health Products Ltd Donates Nasal Endoscopes Machine To KEMH’s ENT Department

Mumbai, September 21, 2021: ICPA Health Products Ltd (ICPA), India’s leading pharma company in the oral healthcare segment, as part of its CSR activity with support from Sanyog Trust has donated a Nasal Endoscopes machine to KEM Hospital (KEMH) for its ENT department. The medical device was inaugurated earlier this month by Mr Rohit Mehta, Founder & Managing Director of ICPA Health Products in the presence of Dr Hetal Marfatia, HOD, ENT Dept., KEMH; Mr Bachhubhai Shah, Managing Trustee, Sanyog Trust and Mr Prakash Desai, Secretary, Lions Club of Juhu Beach. Nasal endoscopes provide physicians with detailed images necessary for diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical sinus and nasal procedures. KEM Hospital’s ENT Department is one of the oldest amongst all the ENT departments in the Municipal Corporation Hospitals. It is the only department that has been conducting microsurgical ear and endoscopic sinus surgery workshops for more than two decades.

In the past, ICPA has donated four 2-D echo machines and one electrosurgical unit to KEM Hospital for its cardiac and ophthalmic, and gastrointestinal departments. Availability of these machines has enabled the treatment of several patients at the hospital.

ICPA supports the education of students through the Ramkrishna Vivekanand Charitable Trust up to their Graduation and provides medical aid to the needy in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, where it has its manufacturing facility. The company also offers marginalised, young children with access to computers through Kuntunath Foundation and imparts them with the basic IT knowledge and skills. The company has empowered close to 100 students over the last four years through several such initiatives. It also has undertaken water-harvesting projects in the region which has benefitted over 8 schools with access to clean water.
