Important Considerations Before going for Hair Transplant

New Delhi, August 26, 2019: There are multiple reasons for which people experience the problem of hair fall. This usually happens to the urban population who are exposed to several unhealthy environmental conditions like pollution and dust. Adding to this, people even face problems like unhealthy lifestyle, stress, hormonal changes, increasing age and even chronic health problems which eventually result in falling of hair.

Number of Sessions Required

The number of sessions required in revamping the hair condition usually differs from person to person. It completely depends on the person’s level of baldness that how many sessions of grafts are required.

Thousands of hair can be transplanted in one session. But generally for a complete and an effective makeover, a person generally needs to undergo 4-5 sessions.

Cost of the Procedure

It is very hard to estimate the exact price of the Hair Transplantation process as there are numerous ways in which hair can be transplanted.

There are three categories of hair transplant treatments viz Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Separation Extraction (FUSE).

FUSE is a method of extracting individual hair follicles with microsurgical exactness but without scalpel and stitches. Body hair delivers an extra source of hair for fuller, thicker and greater hair restoration results. This is a very effective treatment for those with balding problems.

The price of the treatment is dependent on numerous factors like the budget of the beneficiary, the method opted, number of grafts required, complexity etc. The cost of treatment directly impacts the level of baldness and the number of grafts required.

Picking the Right Doctor

One must select a hair transplant artist and not a doctor. This process is more of an art than just a mere procedure or treatment. Picking a doctor for one’s self is really important for providing the greatest probable and effective results in regaining real and permanent hair follicles.

One should always talk to the real-life patients of the prospective doctor to experience a real and a true image of the doctor.

Side Effects

Light pain, bleeding, infections or inflammation, itching, puffiness, scarring, numbness or lack of sensations on the treated area can be some problems of Hair Transplantation. In cases, where the surgeon is not very experienced or skilled people can also have unnatural looking hair.

Whereas, going with a professional surgeon can make the treatment to be 100% pain-free.
