INDIA PHARMA 2017 – 2nd International Exhibition & Conference on Pharmaceutical Industry

New Delhi, December 06, 2016: The Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. Government of India in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is organizing INDIA PHARMA 2017 – 2nd International Exhibitions and Conferences on Pharmaceuticals at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, Karnataka from February 11-13, 2017.

The prime objective of organizing the event is to project India as an attractive investment destination for Pharma sectors and to bring Foreign Investment to new areas of the sector such as Research & Developments, Clinical Trials by promoting Joint Ventures with the Indian Manufacturers and bringing in best practices in the sector from around the world.

The event will have participation by companies from Pharma Formulation and Bulk Drugs, Machinery and Technology segments which will showcase the strength and capabilities of the sector. The event will also provide ample opportunities to the participating companies from the Sector to explore new business avenues during these events.

The event will provide a platform to the global investment community to connect with stakeholders in the Pharma sector in India, Central and State Governments, leading business leaders and top executives from the industry, academics and experts from around the world.

The magnitude of the event with respect to participation of Indian companies is expected to grow multifold for the forthcoming edition and the entire Indian Healthcare sector would be present at these events be it the manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals, Doctors, Regulators from India and abroad, officials of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, officials of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, officials of Ministry of External Affairs.

CONFERENCE:

The Programme consists of an elaborate Exhibition covering all segments of Pharmaceuticals Industry with a well-crafted Conference theme of ‘Shaping the Future of Indian Pharma’. The Programme will have a series of concurrent events, such as :

· CEO’s Forum,

· Investors Conclave,

· International Regulators Meet,

· Workshops and Buyer-Seller Meet.

The Conference would be a conglomeration of policy makers; national and international leaders from the Pharmaceuticals and Bio – Pharmaceuticals by industries, academic and research fraternity.

In addition to the Conference, proceeds will be supplemented with content driven workshops conducted in collaboration with Centre for Professional Advancement (CFPA), USA, WHO and National Health System Resource Centre (MHSRC). There would be plenary sessions on International Regulators Meet with the Industry CEO’s, Sector Skill Challenges in Pharma, Pharma Regulatory Meet: Sharing of Best Practices.

The Conference’s deliberations are expected to emerge with key recommendations in order to create leadership pathways for Indian Pharma sector for global economy and policy implementation for med etch industry growth and removal of gaps in affordable medical care to all.
