New Delhi February 24, 2014:- The Middle East unit of Indian conglomerate Shapoorji Pallonji has been appointed as main contractor for a new medical centre based in Dubai Healthcare City.
The facility, which is being built for the Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Group, will provide 175,000 square feet of healthcare space arranged over six floors with three basement levels for parking.
The 200-bed facility will feature an integrated centre for cardiac surgery, along with diagnostic clinics and a cardiac catheterisation unit, the company said.
It was said that Arif and Bintoak Architects and Engineers, whose previous projects include the Mohammad Bin Rashid Academic Medical Centre has been appointed as consultant.
