Indoco Remedies gains GMP Compliance Certificate for Goa plant


Goa February 17, 2014:- Indoco Remedies is a Pharmaceutical company engaged in manufacturing and marketing of drug products such as Anti-diabetics, Cardiovascular, Musculoskeletal, Nutrition, Central nervous System and dental care. The company operates in over 35 countries globally for Formulations and APIs. With approval of its Finished Dosage facilities by the US – FDA, Darmstadt – Germany, TGA Australia, MCC-South Africa and UK – MHRA, Indoco has emerged as the most suitable partner and provider of Contract Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS) to its customers globally. 


Recently, Goa Plant II of Indoco Remedies which is located at Verna Industrial Estate, has received Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Compliance certificate from the State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL), Czech Republic. The plant has been inspected in connection with marketing authorization(s) listing manufacturer, located outside of the European Economic Area in accordance with Art. 111(4) of the Directive 2001/83/EC transposed in the following national legislation: Section 101 paragraph 3 of Act No. 378/2007 COIL., on Pharmaceuticals and on Amendment to Some Reined Acts (the Act of Pharmaceuticals) as amended. 

The GMP compliance certificate is related to manufacture of sterile ophthalmic formulations. This certificate proves that the sterile opthalmic formulations manufactured in this plant are in GMP compliance and fulfills the GMP recommendations of World Health Organisation (WHO).
