Mumbai, January 20, 2023: Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre recently commemorated the hospital’s 48th Foundation Day by honoring their doctors who have consistently contributed towards the field of medical practice and stepped forward as frontline warriors when the nation needed them the most. As a mark of respect and gratitude to the contributions of the doctors, Ms. Kanta Masand, Chairperson Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, Mr. Jagdish Chanrai, Trustee, Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, and Mr. Jitendra Haryan CEO, Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre felicitated each doctor for their unwavering support amidst the pandemic.
The hospital honored one of Jaslok’s most senior Doctors, Dr. A B Mehta, with the Jaslok Ratna Award for demonstrating persistent excellence since the inception of the hospital, for driving pioneering thoughts & providing exemplary contribution towards the field of clinical practice, academics and research. Dr. A B Mehta has been one of the driving forces in making progress in the field of Interventional Cardiology in India.
