MCBC, an initiative to create awareness and generate conversations around breast cancer, will be promoted through a rangeof branded T shirts for men exclusively available on amazon exclusive

Bangalore, December 06, 2016: Ketto, a crowdfunding company in collaboration with Bangalore based Design and Implementation agency JUMPINGGOOSE® launched MCBC (Men Countering Breast Cancer) campaign today at Bak Bak Bar in Koramangala. The ‘MCBC’ campaign (Men Countering Breast Cancer) is spearheaded by men to generate awareness and conversations around breast cancer and most importantly to encourage women to get checked early. As a part of the campaign, Ketto and JUMPINGGOOSE® have launched a range of branded T shirts for men exclusively available on Amazon Fashion.

The MCBC Merchandise is priced between Rs 599/- to Rs 899/- and is exclusively available on www.amazon.in. Partial proceeds from the sale of the merchandise will be donated to Tata Memorial Trust, Mumbai to support the cause of Breast Cancer.

Many of us, more often than not have heard, read or used the phrase MCBC in verbal abuses, brawls and fights. The ‘MCBC’ Campaign aims to turn a derogatory phrase into an empowering message. A message to bring about revolution and rise above a deadly disease.

On the occasion, Kunal Kapoor, Actor & Co-Founder, Ketto saidAt Ketto, we believethat a change in mindset is the first step towards solving a problem. Awareness is the only way to bring about a change and address the stigma attached to breast cancer. Even though there is a gradual rise in Breast cancer cases, there is still widespread ignorance about the disease. Through MCBC ( Men Countering Breast Cancer), we want to bring about a revolution and encourage men to stand up for the cause of breast cancer”

Piyush Bhandari, Co-Founder, JUMPINGGOOSE® added “ We are happy to collaborate with Ketto for this campaign. We believe that design has the potential to change the way people think. It has the ability to create social impact. The lingo for the campaign has been designed to be cool, bold, provocative yet sensitive. The idea was to move beyond the preachy and trigger conversations that can create the much required buzz. The MCBC campaign aims to bring together young men to lead this movement against breast cancer”

Mayank Shivam, Category Leader, Amazon Fashion commented “It gives us immense pleasure to introduce the line of T-shirts by Ketto and Jumpinggoose exclusively on Amazon Fashion today. Amazon Fashion is increasingly becoming a preferred partner for brands to reach a wider set of audience through our platform and we are honoured to be a part in supporting and building awareness around Ketto’s Breast Cancer awareness campaign. Through this partnership, we look forward to enabling millions of customers across our network of 19,000 pin codes to easily access this merchandize and actively participate in this noble cause”.

Even though ‘Breast Cancer’ is seen as a woman’s issue, men are also impacted by the disease, whether it’s their spouse, sibling, mother or a close friend. With this campaign, Ketto and JUMPINGGOOSE® are looking out for real men who can encourage and support the women in their lives to take time off their daily chores to get regular preventive checkups done to fight against Breast Cancer. Through the MCBC Campaign, the word will be spread with the help of men who care for women.
