Landwehr Orchestra and the Royals of India came together for the 12th edition of the Festival of Hope Celebrating the spirit and courage of cancer survivors

New Delhi, November 10, 2018: FESTIVAL OF HOPE leverages the platform of art, fashion and music to create and spread awareness to prevent and detect early stages of cancer. The Foundation is supported by eminent personalities and achievers from all walks of life, bringing together “Leaders of Hope” who actively contribute by volunteering their time, money, and skills to make a difference.

The 12th edition of the FESTIVAL OF HOPE by Shalini Vig Wadhwa saw the spirit and courage of cancer survivors held today on the 14th of October 2018 at Siri Fort Auditorium. 

This year the foundation was supported by the World famous Swiss Wind Orchestra Landwehr of Firbourg. 80 musicians on stage performed live and a grand fashion show by The Royals of India.

Shalini Vig Wadhwa Founder FESTIVAL OF HOPE says “This year’s theme celebrated the 70 years of Swiss – India friendship. To commemorate the same the foundation collaborated with the famous Swiss Wind Orchestra Landwehr of Fribourg.  Around 80 musicians performed on stage. A grand fashion show by “The Royals of India” was also a part of this show. Bringing together the heritage of both the countries. Eminent people were seen walking the ramp for the Royals. The event will also take place in Mumbai and Jaipur”

The evening was enthralled with Royals of India presenting their collection. For this season the evening was graced by HH Maharani Radhika Raje Gaekwad of Baroda, HH Mukut Rajya Lakshmi of Jaisalmer,  Raja Syed Muzaffar Ali, Rani Meera Ali, Rajkumari Syeda Sama Ali, Kanwarani Kamini Singh of Seohara, Rajkumari Chandini Singh of Seohara and Nawab Kazim Ali Khan of Rampur.

Every year FESTIVAL OF HOPE celebrates the spirit and courage of cancer survivors. The foundation has been working relentlessly to raise funds and create awareness for all types of cancer through various creative platforms like art, fashion & music festivals.
