Maharana Pratap College of Pharmacy organized a PHARMACY HR MEET

Baddi, Solan. Maharana Pratap College of Pharmacy & Pratap University under the banner of Maharna Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) organized a PHARMACY HR MEET at Hotel Le Mariet, Baddi. In which the top representatives of very known Pharma companies participated. The main objective of this event is to bridge the gap between pharma graduates & pharma companies. The chief guest of this event was Dipti Ranjan Panda, DGM, QA, Glennmark & Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Sr. Manager, MicroLab was guest of honour.

The companies present are Abott Laboratories, Alembic Pharma, Indswift Labs Ltd., Francis Kabi India, Aishwariya Life Sciences, Comed Chemicals, Microlabs Ltd., Wallace Pharma, Indchemie Pharma, Theon Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Indoco Remedies, Charak Pharma, Gopal ife Sciences, Medipol Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Rgrow, Chemsis, Wings Pharma, Captab Biotech, Medicef Pharma, Morepen Pharma, Glennmark, Wockhardt Ltd., Hetero Drugs, Ranbaxy Laboratories, Macleods Pharma, Cipla Ltd., Torrent Pharma , Dr. Reddys Lab, Unichem, Associated Biotech, Nexpar Pharma, Martin & Brown, Helios Pharma, Munish Pharma, Promed Pharma, Nester Pharma, Venus Remedies, Ion Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Vapi Care Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Biogenetic Pharma & Helicraft Pvt. Ltd.

The program started with lightening of the lamp by Chief Guest & Guest of Honour including Mr. Gaurav Bhadauria, Jt. Secretary, MPGI preceded by a powerpoint presentation showed the glorious past of the group since 1995 starting from a school to 7 colleges, 9 schools & a university on board. The group not only provided education in pharma field but also in the diverse field of Engineering, Management, Dental, IT, Fashion & mass communication. The students of this group are working in top MNCs on higher positions, Mr. Bhadauria added.

Chief Guest Dipti Ranjan Panda, DGM, QA, Glennmark said that he appreciate this kind of program. This is a remarkable effort by MPGI. With this not only pharma graduates will get benifitted but also pharma companies can also interact with students.

One of eminent speakers Mr. M. K. Sharma Sr. Manger, HR, Comed said in his speech that Pharma sector is changing rapidly. Detection of new diseases compels industry people to research on new medicines resulting which no disease is non-curable now days. The students which are doing Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy should start their carrier with new thinking & new zeal.

Another speaker Mr. Sukam Das, Sr. Manager, Wockhardt said that student should not make haste to gain the success. Alongwith bookish knowledge they should gain industry experience first & experience comes by spending time on job. Medicine saves life but if you are lack of knowledge it can be dangerous.

Other speakers were Mr. Kumar Sahu (Compression Head) – Cipla, Pradeep Sahu (Sr. Manager, QA) – MicroLabs,  Ajay Naik (Manager) – Ranbaxy, Rajesh Baid (HR Manager) – Wockhardt

After that question & answer session started in which top representatives of pharma industry solved the queries of students. At last Mr. Bhadauria from MPGI has given vote of thanks to the representatives & students presented. He also promised that MPGI will organize such programs time to time in the future. The people from MPGI present were Mr. V. K. Sahu H.O.D, Mr. S. L. Das, & Mr. S. K. Prajapati.The program ended with dinner.
