MaxiVision Eye Hospital observes world sight month, pledges for better vision to all- ‘Helping hand for a healthy eye’

Hyderabad, November 20, 2018:  Hyderabad-based MaxiVision Super Specialty Eye Hospital takes pride to announce the month long free eye checkups program for senior citizens above 60 years of age as an initiative towards social responsibility on the occasion of “World Sight Day” observed every year on 11th October across globe. MaxiVision Eye Hospital observes world sight month and pledges for better vision to all. It extends helping hand for healthy eye and offers free eye check up for senior citizens and just a minimal 100 rupee consultation fee for all other patients – under their month-long (11th Sep – 11th Oct, 2018) program. This initiative will be observed at all the branches of Maxivision.

World Sight Day is observed to create global attention on blindness, vision impairment, universal eye health, right to sight and fighting vision problems at old age.

Vision problems are prevalent in people from all ages. Especially the elderly they start getting vision defects as their age grows and develop issues related to sight. Thus they need long-lasting and approachable treatment. World Sight Day is not just a one day event but it is an initiative which inspires to help the world around us.  There are several areas of focus which need to be addressed such as cataract, glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye, eye care management etc

As a gesture towards all such eye complications in the society, and to rekindle the hope in all the patients suffering with eye related diseases, Maxivision intends playing their part in the cause. MaxiVision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals is offering free eye checkups and special concessions for all poor senior citizens who are diagnosed to have Cataract or other vision correction surgeries across all their branches in Hyderabad, Vizag and Vijayawada, from 11th September- 11th October, 2018. All other patients will be charged only a minimum of 100 rupees consultation fees which will help every patient get an expert approach at a very affordable cost.
